You can also customize the scent depending on however you want it. These options are great, though I would like to share additional alternatives found here: http://backpackingmastery.com/skills/homemade-insect-repellent.htmlJulie Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09391642745812486724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-58622783030815953222016-12-11T06:50:22.109-06:002016-12-11T06:50:22.109-06:00ThanksThanksRomilda Garethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04571828795230778384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-32429104766845875602016-12-03T05:58:14.792-06:002016-12-03T05:58:14.792-06:00Thank you for swinging by! Sorry it's...HikingMike, thanks for the comment! Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Buford Mountain is an awesome, awesome, October hike! In fact I'm looking forward to hitting it again but paying far more attention to my timing so that I can really appreciate the autumn foliage change this year... Unfortunately I cannot be 100% on the view from Bald Knob, but I don't believe you can really catch much of a view from the East. If I remember correctly the trees obscure that view. The "Trail of Mystery" as I call it now, seemed (to me) to lead out into privately owned property, as you can see in the trail loop up there, the green Conservation Area ends fairly near that "push pin". I also noticed four wheeler tracks near there as well, but noticed them nowhere else on the trail, which would indicate that someone makes use of that particular trail with off road vehicles as well...
Hope that all helps you and please let me know what you think of the area if you get out to explore it. If you have time you may also want to hit up the Mina Sauk Falls hike too, it's a "quick" jaunt from Buford Mountain...
Cheers and Happy Trails!Shannonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15752432913884941478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-63301408955649101562016-09-14T09:39:35.143-05:002016-09-14T09:39:35.143-05:00Hey Shannon, great write-up! I have a couple questions maybe you could answer. Do you know if you have views both east and west from Bald Knob or just west? Also, what was that other trail that continued northwest at the far end of your trail? I see it on the Dept of Conservation's map as well. I wonder where it goes. That could be a different starting point to doing the loop.HikingMikehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18366968192833447854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-2133093173821405792016-09-09T06:14:45.150-05:002016-09-09T06:14:45.150-05:00No problem, hope you enjoy them.No problem, hope you enjoy them.Shannonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15752432913884941478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-89347428624647435722016-09-09T06:03:35.919-05:002016-09-09T06:03:35.919-05:00Thank you for collecting. Developing that close bond with nature and finding a respect for the life that thrives there can only be helpful throughout their lives. These Kids Fishing Days not only provide that, but they provide all the equipment that the children and parents may not have, in order to really appreciate fishing. The added bonus of being able to learn about the environment and how to fish responsibly is icing on the cake.

Thanks for the comment and reading.Shannon B.http://www.blogger.com/profile/15752432913884941478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5355625114445680806.post-86353344317754807722014-05-15T07:40:56.265-05:002014-05-15T07:40:56.265-05:00Yes, in this way kids can know better about the na...Yes, in this way kids can know better about the nature and can enjoy vacation together.Harshal Agarwalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02761544286321338544noreply@blogger.com
